GardenJoy string trimmer head and blade installation steps
Correct installation Step 1:Confirm grass trimmer head installation accessories:1-blade,2-hex wrench,3-hex nut,4-head cover,5-blade base support, 6-protective cover,7-protective ring. As shown in Figure 1 for the correct installation steps.
Step 2:Lay the weed trimmer flat, hold the string trimmer head with the bevel angle upward,According to the 4 stuck points on the machine head, place the protective cover at 45° according to the stitching lines of the left and right machine shells of the machine head.As shown in Figure 2 for the correct installation steps.
Step 3:Align the hexagonal nut slot of the mower housing with the positioning nut on the motor shaft.Remember not to remove the nut on the motor shaft.As shown in Figure 3 for the correct installation steps.
Step 4:Press the head cover to the nut on the motor shaft until it fits completely, so that the motor threaded shaft is about 1/3 inch higher than the blade seat.As shown in Figure 4 for the correct installation steps.
Step 5:According to the groove shape of the blade seat, place the cutting blade in the groove of the blade seat and press the blade so that the top end of the groove of the blade seat is flush with the outer surface of the blade.As shown in Figure 5 for the correct installation steps.
Step 6:Screw the hex nut on the threaded shaft of the motor, and press the blade seat with the thumb of your left hand to fix the motor shaft.Use a hex wrench to tighten the hex nut clockwise to complete the installation of the lawn trimmer.And install a protective ring to prevent collision with stones.As shown in Figure 6 for the correct installation steps.
The wrong installation is shown on the error 1 , error 2,error 3 and error 4 diagrams.
Error 1 figure: The trimmer head cover is not completely jammed with the hex nut ,so the motor threaded shaft is not 1/3 inch higher than the insert seat.
Error 2 figure: The head cover is in turn mounted on the motor shaft and the blade cannot work normally.
Error 3 figure: If the nut on the motor shaft is disassembled, the cutter head will be stuck, and the lawn mower will not work and cannot rotate.So be sure not to remove the nut on the motor shaft, this is a wrong installation.
Error 4 figure: Failure to install a protective ring causes the stone to collide with the blade and break.The protective ring was installed upside down and it did not provide protection.
